I’m afraid that the under-educated, over-Christianized Roland Martin is an Obama fetishist.  Due to his blind loyalty, Roland has written here—not an opinion regarding Sarah Palin’s ‘reckless views on obesity’, but rather a no-brainer piece in support of good-health as opposed to poor-health via obesity.  Nearly everybody—including the fabulously non-intellectual Sarah Palin—would agree that good-health beats poor-health and that if junk-food and lack of movement contribute to poor-health viz obesity, then people are best advised to seriously re-consider their junk-food intake and get moving.

Sarah Palin’s quote however, spun-off of Michelle Obama’s ‘Let's Move’ initiative, had very nearly absolutely nothing to do with obesity.  Yes, it was belittling of the First Lady’s obesity-focused good-works effort as a ‘kick’.  Yet outside of that, even as ineptly stated as Sarah’s comments routinely are, Mrs. Palin was never off-point.
